Cyber Attack Simulations
Realistic, live-fire simulations that help organizations measure, improve, and validate cyber readiness before a real attack occurs
Experience Real-World Attacks Without Real-World Risk
Real-world attacks are complex, fast-moving, and rarely unfold the way they're expected.
Cloud Range recreates those attacks in safe, isolated enterprise environments where organizations can detect, investigate, and remediate without putting production systems at risk.
Unlike static or linear labs, Cloud Range missions enable teams and AI agents to experience realistic attack progression across multiple stages of an incident. Organizations gain an accurate understanding of how their people, AI agents, and processes perform together, including where strengths and gaps exist.

Simulations Covering Today's Threat Landscape
Cyber readiness requires exposure to the threats organizations face today – not the threats of five years ago.
Cloud Range's continuously expanding library includes live-fire missions across a broad range of attack types and operational environments, with new content regularly added to address emerging threats and customer-requested topics.
SIMULATION CATEGORIES INCLUDE:
Ransomware
Business Email Compromise (BEC)
Insider Threats
Identity and Active Directory attacks
Cloud attacks
OT / ICS attacks
Malware analysis
Threat hunting
Digital forensics
Supply chain attacks
Adversary emulation
AI-enabled attacks and emerging AI threats
Simulations are available at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, allowing organizations to build experience, increase complexity, and continuously improve over time.
Real-world attacks don't happen one step at a time.
Neither do Cloud Range live-fire simulations.
A Readiness Program Built Around Your Organization
No two organizations have the same goals, technologies, or level of cyber maturity. Their readiness program shouldn't be identical either.
Cloud Range helps organizations build a continuous readiness program that aligns simulations to business objectives, team experience, and evolving priorities.
Instructor-led programs incorporate Cloud Range Attackmasters™, experienced cybersecurity professionals who help shape mission progression, facilitate live-fire simulations, and lead after-action debriefs. Organizations can also manage their own programs if preferred.
Measure Readiness. Demonstrate Improvement.
Every simulation produces measurable performance data.
Cloud Range provides detailed performance data that helps organizations benchmark readiness, identify gaps, measure improvement over time, and demonstrate progress to stakeholders.
Reporting includes:
Individual, team, and organizational performance
MITRE ATT&CK® mapping
Detection and response detail
Performance benchmarking
Readiness trends over time
Executive dashboards
Personalized learning recommendations
Platform Capabilities
-
Cloud Range supports multiple attack delivery methods based on the attack and objectives of the simulation. Attacks can be automated through command-and-control (C2) systems, conducted through interactive on-network operations, or combine multiple methods across different phases.
Simulations can incorporate phishing, malware, compromised credentials, vulnerable systems and applications, insider activity, cloud attacks, and other techniques based on the threat being simulated.
-
Cloud Range's proprietary traffic generator creates live background traffic that replicates the activity found in enterprise environments. Traffic can be configured by direction, protocol, frequency, and content to create the normal activity and noise participants must work through while detecting, investigating, and responding to an attack.
This is part of what makes the experience different from a static lab. Participants must distinguish malicious activity from normal enterprise traffic rather than being presented only with the activity they're expected to investigate.
-
Cloud Range supports Windows, Linux, cloud, OT/ICS, and hybrid environments, with enterprise networks and security technologies organizations use every day.
Available tools include technologies from Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Claroty, Nozomi Networks, Security Onion, and others, giving participants experience working with familiar security tools in a safe environment.
-
Cloud Range incorporates current threat intelligence, real-world attacker behaviors, and the MITRE ATT&CK® framework into its continuously expanding simulation library. New simulations address emerging threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and customer-requested topics so organizations can prepare for the threats most relevant to their environments.
This includes AI-enabled attacks, where participants experience how threat actors can use AI as part of an attack and build readiness to detect, investigate, contain, and respond to emerging AI-related threats.
-
Yes. Participants in Cloud Range cyber attack simulations can earn certificates for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits accepted by organizations including ISC2, CompTIA, EC-Council, and others.
