Why take an Incident Commander Training course?

When a cybersecurity incident affects your organization, it is crucial for the incident response team to respond quickly and effectively, bringing the incident to its complete resolution as swiftly as possible. Individual team members will often be engrossed in their areas of expertise, whether that be analyzing traffic logs on firewalls, examining alerts within SIEMs, analyzing suspicious hosts and servers, or more. The course will guide you through a simulated incident and challenge you to make decisions for the team as evidence is uncovered at different stages of the investigation. You will be encouraged to consider early and often which type of attack could lead to the artifacts your team is discovering. You will also learn the importance of delegating tasks so each individual team member operates at their highest and best use.
