What is a red team?
The red team in cybersecurity is made up of professionals who are authorized within the organization to attack a system and exploit security vulnerabilities. Red team members emulate bad actors using real-world tradecraft to determine how an adversary could access the network. Their goal is to find opportunities to improve the organization’s defense and security posture.
What are red team exercises?
