What is a Capture the Flag exercise?
In a cybersecurity capture-the-flag (CTF) competition, teams use cybersecurity tools and techniques to find hidden clues or “flags” within Cloud Range’s virtual cyber range. The team that locates the most flags wins the event.
The Cloud Range platform supports competitions including Capture the Flag and red team vs. blue team events. CTF exercises place a flag or flags in the range at a critical juncture in the training and measure the time it took to report the flag.
Cloud Range experts work with you to develop events that meet your objectives and are tailored for the skill level(s) of your teams.
Additionally, Cloud Range’s platform has analysis capabilities, including reports and Capture the Flag (CTF) scoring, and it allows observers to enter comments about participants’ responses to events.
